    VOCs waste gas treatment—RTO regenerative thermal incinerator
    Equipment description:

    With the rapid development of China's culture and economy, people's demands for living quality, environmental protection consciousness and living environment are increasing. Industrial Organic waste gas is one of the main causes of air pollution. In recent years, our country has made more and more efforts to improve the environment and set higher emission standards for organic waste gas. Under the high standard policy, the technical performance of the organic waste gas treatment equipment has been greatly improved. This paper introduces the working principle and main performance index of various regenerative thermal incinerators (RTO) , the application and development prospects of regenerative thermal incinerator (RTO) are discussed and analyzed.

    The RTO regenerative thermal incinerator is an environmentally friendly device that uses heat to burn waste gas directly above 760 degrees Celsius to oxidize and break down Volatile organic compound gas into carbon dioxide and water, the main structure of the device is composed of combustion chamber, ceramic packing bed, automatic control valve and control system.

    Mainly used in paint, baking, printing, plastic, chemical, electrophoresis, coating, electronics and other industries of exhaust gas. For the concentration in the range of 100-3500mg/M, RTO has other purification technology can not achieve the effect, in addition to high concentration of organic waste gas can also be absorbed after concentration into the RTO direct-fired device!

    Working principle:

    The Automatic Control Valves of organic matter (VOCs) at the bottom of the regenerator are respectively connected with the inlet main pipe and the exhaust main pipe, the organic waste gas entering the regenerator is preheated to a certain temperature (about 760 ~ 850 °C) and heated to 760. The oxidation of VOCS in the exhaust gas to produce harmless CO2 and H20; the heat of the high-temperature gas during the oxidation is "stored" by the regenerator for preheating the incoming organic waste gas, thus saving fuel consumption and reducing operating costs.

    In the process of combustion, RTO need to maintain a certain concentration of exhaust gas to maintain heat storage and conduction, therefore, Rto is more suitable for the treatment of small air volume, high concentration of VOCs waste gas. The waste gas with high air volume and low concentration can be treated as low air volume, medium and high concentration waste gas by activated carbon adsorption and desorption or zeolite rotary wheel concentrator.

    Technical Features:

    (1) Rotary RTO has compact structure, small heat dissipation area, and 8/12 rooms with alternating buffering, which can save energy consumption. Self-sustaining combustion can be realized without adding auxiliary fuel under appropriate exhaust gas concentration conditions.

    (2) 8/12 Chambers work together, airflow distribution is uniform, purification efficiency is 99.5%, comprehensive thermal efficiency is up to more than 95%.

    (3) Rotary valve is adopted, with continuous intake and exhaust, small pressure fluctuation in the pipeline, smooth operation without impact, no exhaust gas backfilling, and small smell in the workshop.

    (4) Less maintenance work, safe and reliable operation, organic sediment can be removed periodically, heat storage body can be replaced, the whole device has a long service life.

    (5) It can adapt to the variation and fluctuation of composition and concentration of VOCs in organic waste gas, has great elasticity in waste gas flow, and is insensitive to a small amount of dust and solid in the waste gas, and can deal with almost all kinds of organic waste gas.

    Air curtain seal rotary valve

    The air curtain seal rotary valve was born in the early 1980s. As shown in Figure 1, uniform holes are arranged between the air inlet area, the air outlet area, the purging area and the blind area. The air curtain is formed by the air curtain to seal the exhaust gas and purification gas. This sealing method for the structure of the precision to be very high, generally using cast iron precision processing manufacturing.Therefore, the difficulty of commissioning is increased. In general, when the factory is repaired again after the first commissioning, an effective air curtain cannot be guaranteed.At the same time, due to the gap between the blowing holes, surface seal cannot be formed at the root of the air curtain. Therefore, the RTO purification efficiency with this rotary valve can only reach 95%.

    Rubber contact rotary valve

    Rotary valve with rubber contact structure seal, as shown in FIG. 2.The sealing plane of rotary valve rotor is made of special material, and the sealing strip of stator is made of high temperature resistant rubber. In the process of operation, the rubber sealing strip of the upper and lower stator tightly clamps the tight plate on the rotor. The unique sealing structure greatly improves the sealing performance. As China currently implements the most stringent VOCs emission standards in the world, RTO purification efficiency must be over 99% or even higher.
